Jeb Bush Said What?!

The 2016 election cycle has proven thus far that the Republican candidates for President are not wholly aware of the constituencies who comprise the electorate. Recent comments from former Florida Governor Jeb Bush's reference to "anchor babies" as related to the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) constituency indicates his lack of understanding and sensitivity. Proving also that with more AAPI leaders in elected office, we can have a diverse discussion of our immigration policies.

There is a stark lack of diversity in Congress and AOF was created to provide progressive candidates, campaigns, and operatives the resources and support they need to be successful. Since our inception, AOF has hosted candidate and campaign trainings across the country, given direct contributions to endorsed candidates, placed fellows into key races, and purchased targeted ads in media markets to boost support for endorsed candidates. Won't you consider a contribution today of $5, $10, $25 or $50 to support our efforts in getting more AAPIs into elected office?  With another Presidential election coming up in 2016, America’s Opportunity Fund needs your support!

We know that diversity matters and having more elected officials who reflect our electorate is essential in helping the individuals and families of this great nation. We hope we can count on your donation today.
